Posing as Red, Dexter meets Leon Prater, a venture capitalist who runs a secret society of serial killers and has a large trophy collection celebrating infamous serial killers, including Arthur Mitchell, Brian Moser and Dexter himself. Dexter finds himself drawn to the group, bonding with Mia/Lady Vengeance, a serial killer targeting sexual predators who escape justice after the rape and murder of her sister. Dexter later kills Lowell/the Tattoo Collector in order to save his next victim. Inspired by Prater, Dexter resumes his practice of collecting blood slide trophies. Angel arrives in town and unsuccessfully attempts to convince Harrison to tell him what he knows about Dexter’s activities. Learning of Foster’s murder, Angel offers his help to the NYPD. Although Angel suspects Harrison, he decides not to tell anyone else for the time being, only caring about catching Dexter and sympathetic with Harrison’s predicament. Harrison continues to struggle with guilt over Foster’s murder, culminating in him nearly surrendering to the police after meeting Angel and being rejected when he tried to kiss Elsa. However, Dexter reveals himself to Harrison and stops his son.
